1 cup warm water
1/3 cup white sugar
¾ Tablespoon active dry yeast
¾ teaspoon salt
1/8 cup vegetable oil
3 cups of bread flour
In a large bowl, dissolve the sugar in the warm water. Add yeast. Allow proofing until yeast resembles creamy foam. Mix salt and oil into the yeast. Mix in flour one cup at a time. Place dough on a lightly floured surface and shape until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth or greased plastic wrap. Allow rising until doubled in bulk, about one hour. Punch dough down. Knead for a few minutes and shape into a loaf and place into a well-oiled 9x5 inch loaf pan. Allow to rise for 30 minutes, or until dough has risen 1 inch about the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for approx. 30 minutes or until the bottom is golden brown
